About Us:

Freddie’s Felines, Inc. is a 501(c)3 licensed GA nonprofit, organized and operated exclusively for the purposes of rescuing, rehabilitating, providing medical care for, and finding lifetime homes for stray/unwanted cats within our local North Georgia and Chattanooga communities, as well as helping to keep cats in their existing homes by providing assistance with veterinary care and access to low-cost services such as spay/neuter, vaccination, and microchipping clinics.

This amazing pair are the driving forces behind the work we do, the lives we save, the differences we make. Having a solid foundation in veterinary medicine with many years of both medical AND rescue experience gives us intricate perspectives and the confidence to tackle even the toughest cases.

And yes, we are named after Freddie Mercury! Freddie was an avid cat lover, who often called home while on tour specifically to talk to his kitties, and he also dedicated his Mr. Bad Guy solo album to them. Freddie rescued almost all of his beloved cats over the years, and his Garden Lodge estate in Kensington served as a cat haven — complete with a beautiful interior garden courtyard that they had full roam of. All of Freddie’s lovers, friends, groupies, and staff contributed to the care of his feline family and there are many pics online of him with his babies!

About Our Kitties and Adoptions:

All cats & kittens we rescue are spayed/neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, dewormed, vaccinated for Rabies and FDRTC, and microchipped.

All interested adopters must submit a completed adoption application, provide veterinary references, and agree to a home visit (completed upon approval when your new kitty is delivered in person). As we do require a home check upon adoption, we limit our area to a maximum distance of 3-hours’ drive one-way from our home base in the Chattanooga/North Georgia area. All our kitties come with lifetime behavioral/training support, and a no-questions-asked, judgment-free lifetime return policy.
